We develop modern optimization-based decision support tools for manufacturers, retailers and service producers. We provide rich and creative user experiences using advanced mathematical methodologies, combined with the latest software and hardware technologies.

Our goal is to deliver exquisite custom solutions, designed and developed for individual businesses. As of today we have developed software systems with specialized optimization algorithms dealing with operative, tactical and strategic decision making. We have successfully implemented our solutions for a wide range of challenging problems such as ship scheduling, demand forecasting, purchase planning and inventory control.

A note on history: MIL Innovation A/S was founded in 2008 in Molde (Norway) by Dr. David Bredström, Dr. Asmund Olstad and Dr. Kjetil Haugen. The primary incentive to establish the company was to make available the latest discoveries in operations research to the logistics and operations management at larger companies, companies that today are facing an ever increasing need of cost efficiency and profit maximization. The large gap between research and industrial application strongly motivates us, and we continuously streamline our efforts towards practical applications of innovative ideas and cutting edge knowledge.

Our current team is strongly motivated and competent, and constitutes internationally awarded members with prominent academic and industrial merits.
